hello
(said in my best Eeyore voice)
I have something to tell you...
I may have mentioned it a time or thirty.
I.am.sick.of.the.winter.
I know, I know, I should
live in the now and appreciate the outline of the trees
blah blah blah.
Kids, I just am not feeling it anymore.
I am ready for 70ish days and sunny
(and you guys better not find any old blog posts where I am complaining about the heat)
Okay, finished complaining.
I have something to show you
(and if it weren't for this dreary weather, I would have a photo of it in my house... okay, really, I am finished complaining)
I love it.
I have never seen another like it.
I have a thing for mirrors
Especially ones so worn.
But, I don't know if it is *me*
I adore it. Each and every bit.
But, I am afraid if I keep it that I may have to rearrange/redecorate my whole house.
And I don't know if my marriage would survive.
So, I am trying her on for size.
Maybe she will play well with others.
If not, she will be at one of the booths.
*sniff, sniff*
In other vintage treasure hunting news,
I got some stuff.
Good stuff.
Booth stuff. Etsy Stuff.
Let's leave it at that.
And, let's say that my stack has doubled in size over the weekend.
Which caused some rearranging.
All of which I would be happy to show you if the sun would just come out for a minute.
Oh yeah, and if my house wasn't in shambles due to all the refluffing.
Soon though... very soon... you will see...
bye for now!
that mirror is amazing!!
ReplyDeletesurely the mister must love her as much as you do.
oh, I am in LOVe with it, who cares about the weather, that mirror is gorgeous!!!!
ReplyDeleteOh wow...what a beaut! That is most definitely a keeper....and if he doestnt like it, you might just have to send the Mr. to the booth to sell! :)
ReplyDeleteXOX
ps - dont wanna rub any warmth in, but it has been in the 70's here ....hehehe
I am right there with you about the weather. "They" are saying we are getting more snow tomorrow. :(
ReplyDeleteKeep it.
ReplyDeleteAnd if you don't, pass it on to me.
Problem solved, you're welcome. :-)
Love the mirror...she's definitely a keeper. ;)
ReplyDeleteI have a mirror fetish, along with many others. This is a very unique find! Gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteWe got hit with more snow today, so I will complain along side of you.
Keep warm!
Michelle
Keep it (or send it to me) This is amazing!
ReplyDeleteHmmmmm.. have you tried torturing your husband and making him hold it up in different places around the house? That's what I always end up doing. It's really cool, and so unique, but there is something a little strange about the shape of the mirror with the frame around it... it kinda reminds me of something out of a cartoon fairy tale... but in a good way... I think...
ReplyDeleteCindy
Very cool! I'd love to see where you put it.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you, SISTA!
ReplyDeletei would hang it on my porch before i got rid of it. you must keep her. you must.
ReplyDeleteI ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT~ and I am sure it will play with the other things in your house beautifully ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh Oh OH OH OH it's sooooo wonderful!!!!!!!
ReplyDeletexo,
LuLu
It is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteI would redecorate to fit this in....well maybe not but it is truly gorgeous and I would consider a do over if I found the right spot. A tough spot to be in.

Oh, keep her, keep her! She is beautiful, Michelle! Certainly one of a kind!
ReplyDeleteI can empathize with you about the long, cold winter, Michelle. Ugh! It's 3 degrees here right now!!! Sheeesh!!! It seems that each year I tolerate the dark dreary winters less and less. Jan/Feb in Florida is looking better and better to me..... :) Someday...... :) I'm hanging in there with ya, girlie! You're not alone!
