hello September!

ahhh September... I look forward to it every year.  For quite a good part of August, I sit around dreaming of what I will do in September to celebrate it.  Things like picnics, road trips, fall cleaning, and rereading favorite books.  In the heat of August, I long for some crisp nights.  Not that those come right away in September, but they do eventually.  September is pretty great weather here in the South.... you know... not too cold.  Or even cool.  Heaven forbid it gets too cold here.  I still think cozy thoughts... chai lattes, backyard cookouts when you have to run inside to get a hoodie, the steering wheel not searing my fingerprints off... all these things come in September.

So, I am going to woo September.  I am going to drink my morning tea outside and start Harry Potter from the beginning (you Potter lovers will understand the significance of starting September 1st.) I am going to take more photos.  I am going to make September a ***playlist and dedicate each song to all the promise this lovely month offers.  So here's to a lovely September to all of you. Go outside and twirl a little.  Blow some bubbles.  Crunch the very first fallen leaves.  Grab it while you can.

bye for now~

***in case you would like to know what is on my September playlist at this very moment, here it is:

You are so stinkin' organized. You always seem to have it goin' on, like you've got this thing mastered....the multi-tasking and still being awesome thing.

  5. I am getting ready to move to Nolensville into a new home. Having always lived in really old homes it's going to be weird trying to decorate such a new place. I find myself seeking out vintage furniture. I WILL have to stop by your shop. Your style is amazing and what I am looking for!
